Life Imitating...

Some people believe a photograph traps your mortal soul

(Jones, Howard. "The Prisoner". Cross That Line. Elektra,1988)

One of my (two) readers sent me this picture.

Based on Actual Events

You walked into the party like you were walking onto a yacht

(Carly Simon. "You're So Vain". No Secrets. Elektra, 1972)

...but 'til then we'll have to muddle through somehow...

It's Christmas at ground zero

The button has been pressed

The radio just let us know

That this is not a test

("Weird Al" Yankovic. "Christmas at Ground Zero". Polka Party! Rock 'n' Roll, 1986)

So, Happy Christmas and Merry New Year!

Banzai Girl

I don't need you to worry for me cause I'm alright

I don't want you to tell me it's time to come home

I don't care what you say anymore, this is my life

Go ahead with your own life, leave me alone

(Billy Joel. "My Life". 52nd Street. Columbia Records, 1978)

This evening I heard an old Billy Joel song on the radio. I was a big Billy Joel fan back in the mid 80's. Hearing the song reminded me of a video project I wanted to do.

Musings

Call me desdinova

Eternal light

(Blue Öyster Cult. "Astronomy." Secret Treaties. CBS Records, 1974)

I haven't posted anything in a while, so here's some music vids.
