(BUCK-TICK "Oukoku Kingdom Come ~moon rise~." Kyokutou I Love You. BMG/Funhouse, 2002)
Freakin' miserable morning.
Showed up at work at "Why are you early" o'clock, started working on a POS (Either Point Of Sale or Piece Of Shit. Take your pick.) that defied me at every turn, and discovered I'd forgotten my MP3 player.
Crap.
Not to worry, I have lots of MP3s on the portable hard drive I run... um... unapproved software from. I fire up my player and just go with whatever play list I had on there from who knows when. I received rather odd looks as I danced around to After the Fire's Herr Kommissar (until I realized I looked like a twit), followed by BUCK-TICK's Oukoku Kingdom Come ~moon rise~ (What are the odds of a BUCK-TICK song on a play list?) which kinda brought down the mood.
Somewhere in the middle of this rather random bunch of songs came a a moment of perfect beauty. Alan's Sora Uta.

It wasn't such a bad day after all.
She has a new album coming out next spring. I'll have to put it on pre-order...
