Every day I get in the queue
To get on the bus that takes me to you
I'm so nervous, I just sit and smile
Your house is only another mile
(The Who. "Magic Bus." Single. Track Records, 1968)
So, skiving off work early wasn't all that great of an idea. As it turns out, I left work about two and a half hours early, and beat my room mates home by about half an hour.
I'm given a server to put together with specifications do not, at all, match the capabilities of the hardware. I swear, I need a fez and a mop in my tool kit!
Long story short; I have a lot of work to do on Monday. I have to take my comp time or loose it. Leaving my bench a mess (the only way I can prove I do any work) I shuffle off to the bus stop.
Another long story short; Tri-Met needs to mark closed bus stops better and their bloody drivers need to freakin' remember where the temporary bus stops are and NOT blow past them when people are waiting at them!
Glad I had music. This is one of the songs that helped keep my sanity. BUCK-TICK's Galaxy from their 2009 album Memento Mori. Enjoy!
