A Last Hurrah

Got a call from the camera shop today.  I thought they were done with my camera, but it turns out they just had gotten my shots back from the out-lab.

When I dropped off my camera, I also handed in off the roll of film I had just finished shooting when the winder died.  Wow.  I seem to have lost my eye or something because...  DAMN!

This is the last picture I look before a) the winder broke, and b) the bunny hopped off into the bushes.  I'm glad I have the 70 to 200mm zoom, but a 500mm would have been better, but expensive.  (May be I should e-beg and start a tip jar...  I could use a few lenses and some filters...)

Don't know if it's the same bunny, but it was in the same area.  I some times wish I had the time and patience for wild life photography.  Both pictures taken in Tigard, Oregon near Fanno Creek.

Oh, while I was at the camera shop, my camera was going through QC.  The rep was showing me the test when... The winder failed.  It should be read in another day or two...
