Never Comes the Update...

One for the Money
Two for the X
Um… Skip a three and four
Five for Japanese Babies

Ever wonder  if there is any actual meaning in the epigraphs?  None, really.  I was actually going to use the opening of Alt Stewart's "If it Doesn't Come Naturally, leave it" but found I'd already used it...

It would be interesting to see if anyone ever looked up and/or listened to the songs.

You have probably figure out that I haven't posted Part 6 of Never Comes the Day.  I've written it and edited it and then re-read it.  I have discovered it is CRAP!  And by that I mean worse than the usual crap I write.  I went to re-write it, but I started having computer issues and lost two days.  I pulled out my backup piece (a netbook) but, between it also developing problems, the tiny keyboard, and a woman that refused to control her children, I didn't get far.  Then there was an insect infestation...

I have my laptop working properly now (Note: I don't care if you use Microsoft, Apple or Linux.  Once you get the OS installed DON'T SCREW WITH IT!)  so I can get on with it without if feeling rushed or forced.

And then, it will probably be the last thing I post here.  I do have other things in the works but I'm not sure if a blog it the appropriate venue, or if I should find another.  Of course, there is an option to just cat it all to /dev/null...  (I do kind of enjoy the idea of using the blog to keep everyone up to date on my transition to WordPress or wherever I end up.)

The good news is that, when I do get things rolling, I will actually have an editor/proofreader making suggestions.  This could result in the use of multisyllabic words!  Maybe even coherency!  Maybe even something people will want to read!

Until then, please be patient (I am leaving this error in to prove that I at least need help hit homonyms...) as I bang out the conclusion of NCtD.

Keep on keepin' on.

PS: I posted what I had.  I am my own worst critic, so I won't say what I think about it.  The whole project could have been done with parts 1, 3, and a completely different part 6.  In fact, part 3 was the first, and in my opinion, the best.  My next project should be better.  :)
